Halloween

James' first Halloween in which he was really excited about things. He chose the theme for our pumpkin and helped me carve it (until it got boring about 45 seconds in and he went off to play until I finished).

Halloween is apparently a high holy day in Decatur. Lots of decorations. Lots of trick-or-treaters. We were sufficiently prepared. Beth and James greeted visitors in cowboy/cowgirl costumes. I was with MG in the hospital--she slept, never even getting to try on the chicken costume hospital volunteers brought by.
