On December 6th, 1273, Thomas Aquinas was celebrating the Mass of St. Nicholas when he unexpectedly abandoned his routine and refused to dictate to his socius, Reginald of Piperno. When Reginald begged him to get back to work, Aquinas replied:
"Reginald, I cannot, because all that I have written seems like straw to me."
Hi David, I hope you don't feel that what you write is like straw. There are many times that I read your postings because of the many posts I read or don't read online, yours are always "transparent" and open before the Lord. I am very much encouraged by the things you post as I am sure there are probably more than you know about. Not everyone leaves a comment but there are many that read and go away encouraged or "chewing on" a particular thought that you have inspired and God can use. Keep posting my friend! I miss it when you don't.
