A Day at the Museum

James took his parents up to New Haven for a day on Saturday to be with some good friends. It was an awfully rainy afternoon, but we had a good time playing indoors and especially visiting the natural history museum at Yale University.

James and his friend Sebastian loved the dioramas of the animals.




I can't look at these animals and think about anything other than the beautiful complexity of this planet. And to watch James' reaction, standing in front of a polar bear, or a deer, or an owl, is to know that we are hard-wired to be in awe of the creation.
