OK, so it's a bad pun.But since every time I post on something related to homosexuality I get a critical comment or two, I just wanted to put up something that all Americans can celebrate together: the USA Track and Field team.
While the US men's basketball team was getting lots of attention for blowing out inferior opponents in an Olympic qualifying event, at the World Track and Field Championships in Osaka, the US team put up one of the most impressive showings ever--sweeping the four running relays and tying the record with 26 total medals, 14 gold. 
Tyson Gay (above, with teammate Justin Gatlin) was an individual star, winning gold in the 100 and 200, Allyson Felix (below) won the 200 and 400, Bernard Lagat was the first ever to win 1500 and 5000, Jeremy Wariner (middle, in photo) won the 400 with the US sweeping all three medals in that event.Much love and much respect to these incredible and dedicated athletes. See, we can agree on some things, right?
